About

We do the unglamorous part, so you don't have to.

Jompom exists because most WordPress sites are built well and then left alone. Nobody plans to neglect a site — it just isn't anyone's actual job once the build is finished.

Maintenance isn't a product. It's a habit.

There's no clever tool that keeps a WordPress site healthy. What keeps it healthy is somebody staging updates before pushing them, testing that the backup restores, reading the error log, and noticing the thing that has started happening twice a day.

That's boring work, and it's precisely why it gets skipped. We built the business around doing it consistently rather than heroically.

Almost every emergency we get called into was preventable, and cheaper to prevent than to fix.

How we work
01

Measure before touching

Audit and back up first, always. We want to know exactly what we inherited before anything changes.

02

Write it down

Every task gets a plain-English note. If you can't tell what we did, we haven't finished the job.

03

Fix causes, not symptoms

Removing malware without finding the entry point, or caching a slow page, are both delays dressed up as fixes.

04

Say the unwelcome thing

If your host is the problem, or you don't need a plan, we'll tell you — even when it costs us the sale.

05

No jargon by default

You shouldn't need to understand PHP to know what happened to your website this month.

06

Your accounts stay yours

We work with access you grant and can revoke. Nothing is held hostage, ever.

The team

Small, and deliberately so.

You deal with people who know your site, not a rotating support queue. That's the main reason we cap how many sites we take on rather than chasing volume.
